Applications for these full-time vacancies are restricted to existing permanent Department for Education, Children and Young People Teacher Assistants, Educations Support Specialists and fixed-term Education Support Specialists that hold a permanent role within the Department.

About the Role

To provide support with the delivery of instructional practices and contribute to the improved learning outcomes of students, including high level instructional or differentiated support, small group work and student supervision in a range of key areas involving Early Childhood Education, Literacy and Numeracy, Special Education and Behaviour Support.

Period of Appointment

Ongoing - Start date of 7 July 2025

Hours per fortnight

21 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
• Diploma Education Support or Associate Degree Education Support
