About the role
As a Workforce Analyst, you will help shape a future-ready organisation by transforming workforce data into actionable insights that improve performance, optimise operations, and support strategic planning.
In this key role, reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and Strategic Workforce Planning, you’ll analyse workforce and capability data to inform decisions that drive efficiency, manage costs, and lift both team member and client satisfaction. You'll play a vital part in forecasting future workforce needs, identifying talent gaps, and recommending data-driven solutions to build long-term capability.
Working closely with the People Systems Administration team, Recognition & Reward, Schedulers, and Care unit stakeholders, you’ll develop impactful dashboards and reports that provide leaders with real-time visibility into workforce trends and issues—enabling faster, smarter decision-making.
This is a permanent role based in Sydney with hybrid opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, capability gaps, and optimisation opportunities
- Build forecasting models to predict future resourcing and talent needs
- Support initiatives in workforce planning, retention, learning, and capability measurement
- Research healthcare and aged care trends, reforms, competitors, and innovations to inform workforce strategy
- Enhance workforce systems, data libraries, and collection methods within existing tech constraints
- Deliver clear, visual reports on talent assessments and workforce metrics
- Contribute to organisational design, span of control reviews, rostering solutions, and reporting
- Ensure data processes uphold privacy, accuracy, and compliance standards
About You
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- A minimum of 2-3 years demonstrated experience working with, and manipulating data to tell a story to various stakeholders
- Proficiency in Power BI, MS Office (Excel pivots) and data analytics to create live dashboards
- Experience in HRIS, Payroll, Finance or data related functions
- TAFE or tertiary qualification in HR, Commerce or related fields
- Passionate and proficient in data analytics, report writing, measurement techniques and data visualisation
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
- Demonstrated problem solving, collaboration and sound communication skills
- Demonstrated adaptability, curiosity and growth mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Exposure to Workday Reporting - desirable
