About the Role
The Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) is on the lookout for an Assistant RTO (Registered Training Organisation) Manager to join the School Improvement, Data, Policy and Governance function. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the educational and professional future of students across diocesan and congregational schools, while upholding the mission and vision of Catholic education.
Key responsibilities:

Provide timely advice to principals and school staff on VET curriculum and compliance matters.

Support training programs, professional learning, and industry engagement for VET teachers.

Oversee externally delivered VET (EVET) programs and manage student records using aXcelerate.

Ensure accurate qualification verification and documentation for VET teachers.

Conduct internal audits and manage rectification processes.

Promote VET initiatives including SBATs, WorldSkills, and the State Training Awards.

Liaise with key stakeholders including NESA, CSNSW, ASQA, TAFE NSW, and others.

Attend and represent CEDB at VEAG and relevant industry meetings.

About You

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or relevant tertiary qualification in Education or Training

Recent experience in VET, ideally within a school or RTO context

Exceptional communication, administrative, and organisational skills

A collaborative, solution-focused mindset and attention to detail

Strong IT skills; experience with aXcelerate is highly regarded
-
Current NSW Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
