About the Role
We have exciting opportunities for approachable and caring Primary Classroom Teachers to join the supportive team at Cathedral CPS, Bathurst. The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.
We are seeking Teachers who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:

Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.

Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.

Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapting practices for equitable education.

Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.

Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.

Collaborating with school leadership, staff and families to contribute to school life.

Providing student supervision and assisting in organising extracurricular activities.

Selection Criteria - About You
We are looking for teachers who can address the following selection criteria. Please include specific examples of how you have or intend to demonstrate each item below.

Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.

The desire to engage with and contribute to the Catholic mission of the Cathedral School and Parish.

A capacity to work collegially and collaborate within a diverse team.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A strong attendance record.
- Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school based on the gifts of the individual (please specify)
- Capacity to create safe and supportive learning environments for students.
- Capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
