Join Sunwater as a Program Controls Manager where you’ll play a vital role in leading the program controls functions across several projects and programs that are essential to Sunwater. You will provide direction and coaching on best practice of project controls systems, risk management and assurance activities, procedures, and documents required for each project/program
As Program Controls Manager at Sunwater, you will:
- Managing the Project Controls and Portfolio Controls teams by providing direction and ensuring deliverables are identified and closed out in a timely manner across a portfolio of work.
- Drive the development and analysis of project, program and portfolio performance reports and dashboards.
- Ensuring the major projects program of works are controlled, supported and reported on in a manner that achieves the time, cost, quality, risk, environmental, safety and other specified standards of the program and the program’s stakeholders.
- Ensuring a fit-for-purpose reporting framework supportive of broader organisational reporting requirements is implemented to provide management with accurate and timely reporting
- Mentor and develop project controls capability across Sunwater by developing and influencing key stakeholders’ knowledge and providing guidance on best practice
We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in Program Controls and extensive experience in review/auditing processes and improvement programs. You will hold tertiary qualifications in engineering, management or equivalent discipline and have a minimum 10 years’ experience in program controls within a project/infrastructure environment. You will also bring:
- Analytical expertise: Advanced analytical, conceptual, problem solving and research skills, including the ability to analyse complex technical issues and to develop a range of practical strategies and identify a preferred option for their resolution.
- Strategic vision: Strategic advice and guidance on the development of project management plans and ensuring they are maintained as current throughout each phase of the projects.
- Communication skills: Highly developed leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor project teams and internal stakeholders
