You would be a great fit if you have excelled in courses in Information Technology with software program and applications development or if you can demonstrate that you are particularly tech savvy.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing several small Low Code No Code (LCNC) applications/solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, Google App Sheets and Smartsheets for several ADHS programs. You will directly engage in web application development tasks under the guidance of one of more of our talented web developers.
This opportunity provides hard working interns with a desire to gain valuable work experience and skills in application design and development. The role will also provide hands-on learning opportunities directly related to their current academic studies.
You will be coached and mentored by the ITS team lead and/or others on the team by collaborating with them on group projects.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Junior/Senior undergrad majoring in BSc/BA in Computer Science or related field and desiring a paid internship experience.
● Time management, organization, planning, and problem solving skills.
● Proficient in Web application development using Low Code No Code (LCNC) development platforms such as Microsoft Power Aps, Google App Sheers and Smartsheets.
● In-depth understanding of software design and programming principles
● Ability to program in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java (J2EE), etc.
● Ability to troubleshoot and identify potential technical challenges.
● Software applications/solutions design and development in real-world context.
● Experience of working with experienced software development teams
● Working with program/business teams to understand and gather requirements for software applications
● Collaboration with a diverse team of professionals.
