What You'll Do:

Participates in the implementation, support of system design, and administration of AHCCCS systems and infrastructure. In addition to assigned systems/applications, projects and administrative tasks may be assigned as needed. Authority to install, configure, and modify systems and infrastructure are part of the job, with approved change control.

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively solves complex and unique problems.
• Troubleshoot across multiple applications and create run books and playbooks for each event with the necessary escalation paths established.
• Create and update documentation, including standard operating procedures, administrative instructions, after action reports for system outages, task status updates, and customer reports.
• Daily monitoring of the network, servers, cloud and applications to ensure full availability and optimum performance. Utilize software tools, basic scripting skills, and logs to monitor network and system health.
• Assist with application integration and troubleshooting in this infrastructure for a complex application environment, including management of dependencies on services, platforms, and other applications within the cloud infrastructure to include use of basic scripting tools.
• Provide primary support and maintenance of claims submission services and software, such as Foresight and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
• Manage instances compliant with Arizona cloud infrastructure and services in GovCloud and Commercial environments.
• Perform day-to-day operational administration of complex multi-user cloud-based computing systems including user management, audits, patches, and upgrades.
• Support and troubleshoot web applications. This includes deployment of web applications using Public Cloud environments and utilizing application and server logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Build technical knowledge of virtual machines and applications operating in Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.

Qualifications:

Minimum:
• 2+ years of hands-on experience or demonstrated proficiency provisioning virtual environments, performing operational tasks, and maintaining Linux and Windows instances running on one of the top vendor public clouds platforms. At least one entry level / associate level cloud certification from one of the following cloud vendors: AWS Cloud Practitioner (AWS), Associate Sysops Administration, Google Fundamentals, MS Azure Fundamentals, or Azure Administrator.

Preferred:
• 3+ years of experience with developing, running and maintaining scripts. Good communication, project & priority management and collaboration skills.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record for the last 39 months including no DUI, suspension or revocations and less than 8 points on your license. If an Out of State Driver License was held within the last 39 months, a copy of your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is required prior to driving for State Business. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
