POSITION SUMMARY:

The Court Services Division of the Arizona Supreme Court is looking for an eCourt Services Lead Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will lead or collaborate on various complex projects that involve planning, research, and analysis of court management, data systems, and both technical and business practices. Your work will ensure the effective and secure integration of eCourt initiatives. Responsibilities include researching and developing policy, as well as maintaining business and technical documentation to support these initiatives.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, training programs, and implementation schedules for eCourt initiatives. You’ll also facilitate meetings between courts and other agencies, analyze court management and operations, identify challenges, and propose strategies to improve business and technical practices. The role includes providing technical and business guidance to judicial officers and executive staff, as well as preparing and delivering presentations to both internal and external stakeholders of all levels. As the lead resource, you will coordinate with application vendors and project owners, manage relationships, and oversee meetings related to eCourt initiatives.

After an initial period of at least three months in person, this position may offer the ability to work remotely up to two days per week, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate must have a degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in public or judicial administration, or related field, plus seven years’ experience in court administration and operations with experience managing complex court related projects. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

This position requires demonstrated experience in analysis of court operations or court management which includes evaluation, documentation and making recommendations for improvement. Expert knowledge of management and planning principles, methods, and techniques, and in problem solving, including the ability to focus on the specific elements of a problem while maintaining a broader perspective of the needs of the court system in its entirety. This position also requires the ability to organize and prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively with judges, court staff and the public, and understand and interpret legislation/statutes, rules, administrative orders and policies and procedures.

The preferred candidate will have operational knowledge of superior, justice and municipal court procedures and operations and be a graduate of the National Center for State Court’s Executive Development Program (CEDP) or Certified Court Manger Program (CCM).

Travel level: up to 25% in state.
