POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrative Services Division is seeking a dynamic individual to manage Commissions on Trial and Appellate Court Appointments (JNC) and to work with the Judicial Performance Review (JPR) program in support of the Commission on Judicial Performance Review in carrying out constitutional mandates, applicable laws, and procedural rules adopted by the Supreme Court relative to the retention of judges.
In addition to staffing Committees, this position will also administer the appointment of judges pro tempore and members of Supreme Court committees and will also assist with the planning and execution of the dissemination of JPR surveys to judges, court staff, attorneys and litigants, conducting analytical studies, interpreting data, preparing reports, and drafting policies and procedures as adopted by the Commissions, preparing minutes, and drafting and maintaining policies and procedural manuals. Additionally, this position will work with the State Bar of Arizona to research and draft disciplinary histories for judicial applicants and attorneys. This position will also act in a supervisory and decision-making capacity in the absence of the Program Manager.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related field. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. In addition, this position requires five years’ related experience in progressively responsible positions. Other requirements include excellent writing and analytical skills, highly effective communication and project management skills, ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professional and lay people associated with the legal system and government entities, demonstrated judgment in disseminating information and handling personnel matters. This position requires a valid Arizona driver’s license due to state-wide travel requirements.
