Job Summary: |
The Licensing Administrator, under the direct supervision of the Licensing Division Manager, applies federal and state statutes and rules, Agency policies and procedures, and critical thinking skills to process license and permit applications, forms, and requests received by the Board office.
Job Duties: |
This position is responsible for:
• Collaborating with all areas of the Agency to ensure timely and accurate processing, review, and coordination of licensing applications, forms, and requests
• Communicating with applicants over the phone and in person to address questions related to the application process and regulatory requirements
• Preparing and presenting application files to the Board that require additional review and consideration
• Participating in ongoing cross-training, policy and procedure review, and process improvements
• Supporting the Board's telephone call center as it relates to licensing-related inquiries
• Processing and critically reviewing license and permit applications
• Issuing licenses and permits
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
Knowledge:
• Willingness, eagerness, and adeptness to become knowledgeable in state and federal rules regulations, and policies and procedures that pertain to pharmacy practice; state and federal laws in relation to healthcare practices (i.e HIPAA, CMS, OIG, etc.); and fundamentals pertaining to pharmacy practice and healthcare compliance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
