The Operations Division /Information Services Section is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage complex systems supporting mission-critical operations. In this role, you'll lead efforts to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance while serving as a key technical advisor within our team.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

• Microsoft Exchange (on-premise and O365) administration
• Outlook client troubleshooting
• Microsoft Active Directory and PowerShell usage
• Microsoft Server Admin to include HA Clustering (Hyper-V)
• Storage Area Networking (Cisco Fiber Channel)
• Cisco networking and firewall administration
• Manage Commvault Backups (on-premise and cloud)
• Design, develop, and implement advanced system solutions tailored to business needs.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide ongoing maintenance for existing systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers while contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned as related to the position

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

KNOWLEDGE
Thorough working knowledge of multiple programming languages, multiple database management systems, multiple development platforms, and systems integration.

Specifically, management of Microsoft Active Directory systems, management of an Exchange environment, experience in IP networking to include Cisco management, and proficiency in PowerShell usage.

SKILLS

Selective Preference(s):

The preferred candidate will have:
• 10 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Active Directory systems
• 4 years of hands-on experience managing an Exchange environment
• 4 years of hands-on experience in IP networking to include Cisco management
• Proficiency in PowerShell usage.
Additionally, experience with cloud platforms such as Exchange Online, and Azure; Advanced certifications in security and/or systems administration; Fiber channel storage systems experience; and Commvault backup experience.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Travel is required for this position. A valid Arizona Driver’s License is required, along with consent to have your driving record run periodically.
