Procurement Supervisor in PHOENIX
In accordance with the procurement authority delegated by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), and the Arizona Procurement Code, under general guidance from the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Supervisor oversees and directs the procurement operations. The Procurement Supervisor provides guidance and oversight to the Senior Procurement Specialists and Procurement Specialists, assists in scope of work and specifications development, preparation and administration of Request for Proposal (RFP) Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) and provides oversight and guidance in all procurement processes. Reviews and approves various agreement types prepared by direct reports: Intergovernmental Agreements, Inter-agency Service Agreements, Competition Impracticable and Memorandum of Understanding, as needed while ensuring State and Federal statutes and rules are followed. The Procurement Supervisor provides training and mentoring to direct reports; and identifies areas for improvement and implements recommendations for a more effective organization.

Public Health Scientist Associate in PHOENIX
The public health scientist position is responsible for conducting laboratory analyses on dried blood spots on newborn babies for the identification of metabolic disorders. This position performs chemical, hematological and molecular testing of clinical laboratory specimens, along with performing quality control, maintaining laboratory records, providing consultation to clients and other laboratorians, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment within the Office of Newborn Screening. This position will maintain the laboratory reagent and material stocks for testing conducted by the sections, as well as play a support role in the laboratory in the event of a public emergency.

Lead a team of Immunization Program Specialists that plans, directs and implements site visits that assess VFC program compliance or vaccination coverage rates with VFC/VFA enrolled sites. The lead will be the point of contact for the team with respect to the CDC Immunization Quality Improvement for Providers program, reporting in the CDC PEAR system, documentation in Call Tracker and communication with providers. Conducts site visits that assess VFC program compliance or vaccination coverage rates with VFC/VFA enrolled sites. Plan, direct, implement immunization assessment and quality improvement (IQIP/IDR/Cloud/etc.) activities and visits at VFC (VFA) enrolled sites and schools/child care facilities. Provides technical assistance and education for immunization program compliance and accountability for VFC/VFA enrolled sites and schools/child care facilities, internal employees and as directed by program leadership. Provides oversight to the Immunization Quality Improvement for Providers program for internal staff and provider office immunization staff. Completes required reporting, documentation and data collection for all work activities. The lead will be in support of the the team to ensure that the team as well as our providers are successful.
