Job Summary: |
The Arizona Cotton Research and Protection Council is looking for a talented AF36 Production Worker to join our Team. This incumbent performs production and maintenance task that requires the application of highly skilled abilities in maintaining and repairing a building. ACRPC is willing to train all applicants as needed. The incumbent must be physically capable of lifting and staking 50 pound sacks (pallets) for a good portion of the day.
Job Duties: |
- Coordinate with the Facilities Manager in repairing and maintaining buildings as assigned by the ACRPC.
- Coordinate projects with vendors, co-workers, customers, etc.
- On occasion, AF36 Production may be required to supervise other AF36 Production Workers.
- Ensure compliance, with state procedures, policies, work methods and safety of assigned personnel.
- Participate in the planning, estimating, costing and ordering of materials in a timely and efficient manner.
- Attend job related and/or other opportunities for training and certifications.
- Weighing and bagging systems, through the palletizing process.
- Unloading grain trucks, operation gran cleaner, and roaster.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
- Knowledge of all phases of the production process.
- Knowledge of common and specialized tools, equipment, and materials related to work.
- Knowledge of techniques of work leadership and training.
- Knowledge of methods and practices involved in the installation and replacing major utility repairs.
- Skilled in demonstrating, operating, repair, and maintenance of powered/nonpowered grounds equipment and tools.
- Ability to Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance and make immediate decisions.
- Ability to progress through work duties assigned.

Pre-Employment Requirements: |
- Successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify), applicable to all newly hired State employees.

A copy of your MVR (Motor DUI, suspensions Vehicle Record) is required at the time of your interview if an Out of State Driver's License was held within the last 39 months.
