Job Summary: |
This role combines basic website management responsibilities with IT support tasks, ensuring smooth operations in both digital and technical environments.
Provide dual support in maintaining the organization's website and assisting with end-user desktop support.
The role also includes providing technical support for Nursing Board and Committee meetings.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions: |
• Website support including managing website content, resolving minor website issues, monitoring website performance; providing performance reports and managing media assets; creating broadcast emails including newsletters and board notifications
• Desktop support including setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices; Installation, update, and provide support for operating systems and business applications including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; on-boarding and off-boarding users and equipment
• Cross-functional responsibilities including creating and maintaining documentation for website processes and IT procedures; provide basic end-user training; enforcing IT security best practices; participating in the IT equipment purchasing processes
• Nursing Board and Committee support including setting up audio-visual equipment, streaming meetings to AZBN staff and the public, monitoring streaming/broadcasting, and recording processes during meetings, posting digital meeting materials to AZBN website
• Other duties as assigned as related to the position
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
Knowledge:
• Understanding Drupal's architecture, including nodes, blocks, views, and taxonomies
• Basic understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting methodologies
• Basic knowledge of computer and/or networking hardware and software
• Knowledge of how to create, edit, and manage content within Drupal
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Google Workspace
• Web technologies - HTML and CSS
Skills:
• Proven experience in IT desktop support, including hardware and software troubleshooting
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, website analytics tools, and email marketing platforms
• Clearly explaining technical problems and solutions
• Diagnosing and resolving website issues
• Proficiency in Google Workspace
• Proficiency in Windows
Ability:
• Resolve incidents/problems efficiently and effectively by recognizing customer competence level
• Analyze complex issues, interpret, evaluate and arrive at logical conclusions
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills
Required Education, Licensure, Certification: |
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Pre-Employment Requirements: |
• Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment
