This is a limited-time position, scheduled to conclude in November 2027.
The Senior Business Analyst acts as the primary liaison between the enterprise project management office (EPMO) and the Immunization team. This position is responsible for supporting key business processes and applications, recommending business process redesign when applicable, and playing a crucial role in the expansion of the immunization information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration and Liaison
a. Act as the primary liaison between the Immunization, IT, and other Agency teams
b. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment between technology solutions and business needs
2. Business Process Support
a. Support the organization's key business processes and applications
b. Recommend business process redesign where applicable to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
3. Requirements Gathering
a. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives
b. Gather and document business requirements
4. Documentation and Translation
a. Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive user stories
b. Provide detailed documentation to guide the development and implementation phases
5. Functional Expertise
a. Offer functional expertise to developers during the design and construction phases of projects
b. Ensure that implemented solutions meet business requirements and align with organizational objectives
6. System Testing
a. Develop and execute test scripts and test cases
b. Develop test scenarios in preparation for user acceptance testing
7. Business Systems Standards
a. Maintain business systems standards by applying project management methods, tools, and processes as standard practice
8. Communication and Coordination
a. Prepare and deliver informative and well-organized presentations and project status reviews to stakeholders, including process owners, customers, and other relevant parties
Job Duties: |
Perform discovery to determine current processes and procedures.
Provide functional expertise to delivery teams during design, construction, and testing phases of projects.
Gather and maintain business requirements and their respective product backlogs.
Create and deliver related user documentation and end user training.
