The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to function as the Human Resources (HR) Analyst responsible for the timely processing of a wide variety of position and salary actions in AZ360.
In this role, You will also be responsible for customer service, filling HR documentation and preparing reports at the Arizona State Prison Complex - Eyman.

Job Duties:

- Provides customer service to employees regarding HR related inquiries including deposits, taxes, benefits, promotional and transfer opportunities
- Researches and prepares HRIS input documents on a variety of employee personnel actions such as new hires, promotions, resignations, demotions, transfers, reversions, audit actions, reconciling AZ360 entries for accuracy, etc.
- Conducts new hire and lateral transfer in-processing, consisting of reviewing all new hire and later transfer mandated forms and informing new staff of employee benefits options
- Ensures E-Verify are completed timely
- Process all institution in-coming contractors and non-religious volunteers, to include the completion of background questionnaires, coordination of fingerprints and the submission of all completed background packets to the appropriate location
- Process ID request, create contractor/volunteer file, track ID expiration dates, update log for monthly reporting, etc.
- Utilizes a variety of computer programs and software daily including AZ360, Microsoft and Google Products
- Produces and researches the HRIS Status Term Report sending regular notices out to the units of upcoming status term dates for employee performance evaluations
- Creates input documents and submit original to HR Operations Central Office for processing and filing
- Creates Institution HR Files for all newly hired staff, contractors and volunteers
- Files all incoming HR Benefits and related actions and documentation
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
- Travel on State business

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
