| Job Summary: |
This position will act as the primary liaison between the Information Technology Division and agency divisions and sections. Responsible for providing support to key business processes and applications, assists in gathering requirements for business questions of management and staff and translates those technical specifications into data views to enable data-driven decision-making, identifies and documents business needs and requirements, and evaluates gaps in operational processes and procedures. Analyzes business processes, organizational procedures, workflow, and information requirements; documents business and functional requirements and recommends implementation strategies.
Performs requirements elicitation/management and documents use cases to facilitate the implementation of solutions that meet business objectives. Ensures that testing activities are completed, including developing test plans, executing tests, and tracking/reporting test outcomes. Works with Data Management staff to ensure that Data Management policies and guidelines are implemented for new processes.
Facilitates communication between stakeholders from all levels of the organization while objectively identifying and resolving conflicts. Documents test flow and data requirements and tracks software defects as well as issues with performance and usability.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based on the department's business needs and a continual meeting of expected performance measures. A minimum of two days on-site at the ADWR office per week is required.

- Acts as primary liaison between the Information Technology Division and agency divisions and sections.
- Supports the organization's key business processes and applications and gathers and documents business requirements for all projects.
- Provides functional expertise to developers during the design and construction phases of projects and maintains business systems standards by applying project management methods, tools, and processes as standard practice.

Knowledge of :
- Methodologies and techniques for systems analysis and design, business process modeling, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and software development
- Data Quality best practices, including profiling
- Project management techniques such as project workflow, time estimates, budget estimates, resource allocation, etc.
- Familiarity with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge
- Water resources policy and history

Candidate should have bachelor's degree in a related field. Prefer experience in business analysis or Salesforce platform.
