If you're passionate about working with children and families, becoming a Case Aide-Parenting Time Coordinator at DCS can be a life-changing experience. After four years of successful service, you’ll also be eligible for promotion to the DCS Specialist Trainee position ($21.70 per hour).
What You’ll Do
As a Case Aide Parenting Time Coordinator, you’ll:
- Ensure families experience safe parenting time that meets their individual needs
- Develop, document, and implement individualized parenting time plans through observation and collaboration, while coordinating schedules across assigned Parenting Time Case Aides to ensure consistent coverage, effective calendar management, and efficient use of resources
- Partner with DCS Specialists and Supervisors during clinical supervision and case planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary case meetings to support family progress and child safety
- Monitor and analyze parenting time data for children in out-of-home care
- Coach and support Parenting Time Case Aides to improve service quality and documentation
- Identify trends and collaborate with leadership on improvement strategies
You may also be required to work outside of regular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Can:
- Build professional, trust-based relationships with families and colleagues
- Communicate clearly and compassionately in sensitive situations
- Develop and document parenting time plans based on observation and collaboration
- Coordinate parenting time schedules and staffing coverage using strong organizational and calendar management skills
- Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs
- Coach and support other Case Aides to maintain high-quality services
- Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and digital scheduling tools effectively
What We Need From You (Required Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record
- The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, and the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
