Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Program Administrator, the Management Analyst 3, acts as the primary source of contact for the Office of Licensing and Regulation's Active Contract Management process. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the Office of Licensing and Regulation's implementation of the Active Contract Management process by manipulating data, ensuring sustainability and deploying and updating graphs and reports for provider meetings.

NOTE: May not seek nor maintain a license or certification for any services regulated by OLR, nor seek or maintain secondary employment with any entity regulated by OLR during employment within OLR.

Job Duties:
  • Retrieves, updates manipulates and analyzes data & reports. Visualizes data through charts/graphs, PowerPoint presentations. Develops and composes a variety of reports/charts on performance activities, functions, trends, conditions, or volume of occurrences. Develops scorecards, templates, and other tracking methods to track and increase productivity/uniformity in process.
  • Creates data and charts/graphs in provider meetings and engagements. Prepares for and attends quarterly provider meetings.
  • Provides technical assistance and training to internal and external stakeholders related to data collection and information for contract, policies, procedures, data manipulation, and interpretation.
  • Quarterly data clean up for various reports.
  • Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

  • Regulatory principles and practices, as well as federal and state laws and regulations regarding licensing
  • State and agency policy and procedures governing licensing
  • Interview and information gathering techniques
  • DCS organizational structure and agency human resource policies and procedures
  • Data collection systems such as tableau, Stata, Einstein, Microsoft Access, and Excel
  • Project management/control methodologies
  • Writing and presentation of reports
  • Personal computers and software (e.g. Microsoft Office Access, Excel, etc.)

Selective Preference(s):

The selected candidate will have a degree in data science, public or business administration, or other related field and experience with audit or fidelity monitoring, computer science, contract management, or statistical analysis.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Requires the possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11). Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintain valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration. Mileage may be reimbursed, if applicable.

Must be able to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
