The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a detailed, organized and motivated individual to perform full administrative and secretarial functions of confidential nature for the Complex Visitation Coordinator. This position also completes clerical duties for complex visitations, including prints and verifies payments received on visitation applications website at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) – Tucson.

| Job Duties: |
- Prints visitation applications from the visitation website, verifies receipt of background payments, completes entries into ACIS and web-based applications
- Maintains visitations files
- Answers incoming phone calls from the public in a professional manner, takes notes, provides basic information, refers calls to appropriate person/department if needed
- Collects and processes incoming mail, prepares responses
- Coordinates meetings
- Employee payroll backup
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Knowledge of:
- Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Personnel Rules and ADCRR policies and procedures
- Written and verbal communication
- Grammatical formatting using concise, specific, and grammatically correct non-technical language
- Personal Computer usage, including word processing and spreadsheet software
- Techniques in screening incoming calls, visitors, and telephone calls

| Selective Preference(s): |
- Prefer two (2) years of professional office experience and proficiency use of web-based applications, Google Office, Power Point, e-mail, and data entry

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
