| Job Summary: |
Conduct investigations to ensure compliance with the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports rules, State and Federal laws. This may include, but is not limited to, conducting forensic audits and financial investigations, examining individual and/or company financial records, writing or assisting with comprehensive reports, conducting interviews, and testifying at hearings and in court. Assist the Racing Division and Boxing & MMA in conducting financial reviews of licensees.
This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (1-2 days per week in the office/hoteling).

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

| Job Duties: |
Conduct Financial investigations of entities and individuals for State Gaming Certification and/or licensure to ensure compliance with the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports rules and State and Federal laws. This may include, but is not limited to, conducting forensic audits and financial investigations, examining individual and/or company financial records.
Financial Investigators confer and coordinate with Special Agents, and assist in preparing comprehensive reports of findings. Confer with supervisors and managers, assist the Attorney General, Tribal and Event Wagering & Fantasy Sports entities. Testify in administrative and/or criminal proceedings as necessary. Assist the Racing Division and Boxing & MMA in conducting financial reviews of licensees.

| Selective Preference(s): |
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CIA, EA or CMA, and at least one year of audit/accounting experience are preferred. Financial investigators should have an extensive accounting or financial investigative background.
