      The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) functions in a highly professional setting similar to a private law office. The ALJ must complete special assignments as directed by the Director/Chief Presiding Administrative Law Judge or Assistant Presiding Administrative Law Judge. The ALJ must observe substantive and procedural policies of the Office and timely complete continuing legal education assignments.
