      This position will report to the Bureau Chief or Deputy Bureau Chief, and is responsible for overseeing the management of the Arizona ambulance services Certificate of Necessity Licensing (CON) and rates program: The position will be responsible for the oversight of ambulance provider certification licensing, recertification, response time compliance, establishment of general public rates, charges, contracts, and performance improvement initiatives. The role will serve as a resource for all administrative/lead staff, and oversee work of direct reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable statutes, laws, and rules. The position will be a subject matter expert on statutes and rules, and will be expected to provide technical assistance and guidance to EMS providers.
