The purpose of this position is to prepare Comprehensive Health Plan (CHP) audited financial statements and various supplementary schedules. These financial statements and schedules are submitted to Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). The position applies U.S. Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and numerous accounting standards including Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements to ensure that the Agency's financial statements and schedules are prepared accurately and timely. In addition, the position will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the Agency in regards to CHPP funding.

Sensory Screening Program Manager in PHOENIX
This position reports to the Children and Youth with Special Healthcare Needs Program Manager and is responsible for program management of Children’s Health program activities. The candidate will manage a variety of contracts including contracts with local programs, vendors, community-based programs, statewide and federal programs. This position will assist with coordination, implementation, and monitoring all aspects of the ADHS Sensory Program, including Arizona’s legislatively mandated hearing and vision screening programs. This position will provide education and training to, and foster partnerships with, child serving agencies and schools, to support the implementation of sensory screening policies. This position will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of vision and hearing screening and maintaining program components including curriculum development, equipment inventory, training and education, and policy and procedures.

The Arizona Department of Housing is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Accountant 2 within the Finance & Accounting Division. Under the supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, this position performs high-volume accounting work in support of state and federally funded programs, including those administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. This position is responsible for performing financial tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, applying established accounting principles, theories, and practices. The Accountant 2 will review and reconcile financial reports and data, identify and correct discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records and financial statements. The position utilizes the State of Arizona’s Financial Management System (AZ360) and other state financial platforms to retrieve and analyze data, track revenues and expenditures, monitor contract status, and support financial reporting. Additional duties may be assigned as related to the position. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
