Job Summary:

The “Virtualization & Data Recovery Administrator” position at LCC is responsible for the administration, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, and/or modification of virtualization & data recovery infrastructure systems or applications, based on and related to user or system design specifications. They will utilize systems analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications and requirements for virtualization & data recovery systems (ie. Veeam, Nutanix, etc.), integration points, and IT operations using their discretion and judgement to determine the best solutions. They will coordinate with team members while performing tasks related to maintaining and monitoring existing LCC virtualization & data recovery systems, advising for capacity planning and growth; analyzing, designing, and writing specialized software applications as well as improving existing processes and procedures.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:

An Associate’s degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant Information Technology work experience.

Demonstrable experience in the administration and integration of virtualization and data recovery systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 4 years relevant Information Technology work experience preferred.
