Job Summary:Under the direction of the Foundation Director, the Scholarships and Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the functions related to both the Foundation and College scholarship awards by soliciting and advertising scholarships to prospective applicants, soliciting and training volunteers for scholarship application review, monitoring and auditing the application system, and ensuring clear and consistent communication with all applicants. Access, review, and analyze student information and applicant information to exercise professional judgment to determine scholarship eligibility and to ensure compliance with all aspects of donor and Foundation scholarship agreements. Leads the development of the Foundation's annual budget. Explores grant opportunities and leads the application process for the Foundation, coordinating with the LCC Grants department. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process. |
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related work experience. |
Preferred Qualifications:Five (5) years of related work experience in business, event planning, and/or organizational support functions. |
