Adjunct Instructor - Spanish in LCC Downtown Campus

Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach courses in Spanish. Depending upon the program’s needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may be on LCC’s downtown campus, at an extension center (within 40 miles of the downtown campus), and/or via online delivery methods. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities and other duties as assigned.

Student Employee - Center for Teaching Excellence in LCC Downtown Campus

Student employees in the Center for Teaching Excellence will assist with: providing administrative and logistical support for the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). Duties include maintaining the physical space, managing the front desk, supporting faculty and staff, and handling various administrative tasks such as data entry and reporting. The role also encompasses responsibilities related to accessibility, including captioning videos and reviewing materials for accessibility compliance.

Head Coach - Volleyball in LCC Downtown Campus

The Head Volleyball Coach will support program recruiting and selection of student-athletes. The incumbent’s primary focus is on monitoring student athletes’ academic success, teaching the sport of volleyball and developing citizenship to ensure outstanding representation of the College.

Assistant Coach - Baseball in LCC Downtown Campus

The assistant baseball coach will support program recruiting and selection of athletes for the sport of baseball. The incumbent will teach and monitor student-athletes progress in academics and athletics during their tenure at LCC.

Adjunct Instructor - Manufacturing Engineering Technology: Systems in LCC West

Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks an Adjunct Instructor for their Manufacturing Engineering Technologies - Systems program. This faculty member will be responsible for the instruction of Robotics, Programmable Logic Controller, and Mechatronics classes. The individual should have experience in troubleshooting automated systems and be able to develop classroom materials that utilize best practices and web technologies to deliver instruction. The ideal candidate will have current, relevant industry experience and understand the changing direction of automated technologies.
