The ASN Nursing Faculty is responsible for teaching professional nursing courses at the postsecondary level (but at less than the baccalaureate) to students who have graduated high school or earned a GED. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, leading and moderating classroom discussions, facilitating online activities and communication, and administering and grading examinations and assignments. Demonstrates and teaches patient care techniques in the classroom, simulation laboratory, and clinical sites to nursing students. Position is an expert in nursing practices with knowledge of professional scope and standards of practice. Able to rely on evidence-based practice guidelines to plan and accomplish teaching goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Instructor - Respiratory Care/Director Clinical Education in Lake Charles, LA
The Respiratory Director oversees and teaches in the Respiratory Care Program at the postsecondary level (but less than the baccalaureate) to students who have graduated high school or earned a GED. The director will ensure compliance with accreditation standards, the delivery of a high-quality curriculum, and the effective preparation of students for careers in respiratory care. The individual will participate in curriculum development/revision and provide didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction. The person is a subject matter expert in Respiratory Therapy. Adjunct Instructor - Accounting in Lake Charles, LA
This is a part-time adjunct position beginning January 2026. The School of Business and Applied Technology offers an AAS in Accounting Technology. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting Technology conducts college-level, transferrable courses in the discipline area of Accounting Technology while developing and designing curriculum plans that foster learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensure student engagement. This Adjunct Instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering lectures online, on-ground, and/or in hybrid situations, creating a learning environment, and assessing student learning. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting Technology maintains accurate grade and attendance records, and individual student progress data, and ensures this is a part of the student’s permanent record; adheres to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records; posts at the office and on the syllabus, on-campus and/or virtual hours to facilitate interaction with students, other faculty, staff administrators, and the public. The Adjunct Instructor – Accounting Technology must be available to students via email, phone, and/or in-person conference, and may mentor other staff or students.
