Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting physical inventory and state compliance
Conduct thorough internal inventory audits, physical inventories
Assist state and/or third-party auditors and staff during their inventory audit, providing necessary support and documentation
Analyze audit findings, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
Monitor inventory and report any discrepancies to management
Assist with staff inventory reconciliations
Prepare and file all audit related documentation in recoup or otherwise pursuant to compliance manager request
Serve as a liaison regarding audit-related paperwork
Reconcile recoup transactions and analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Provide exceptional service by effectively addressing and resolving a wide range of staff inquiries
Utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to identify root causes of staff issues and implement effective solutions
Build and maintain positive relationships through proactive communication and a college-centric approach including in person meetings
Required Education: Bachelor degree or 8-10 years of work related experience
Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years in property control specializing specifically in physical inventory control measures
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of both MS Word and Excel
Advanced knowledge of Recoup or comparable physical inventory tracking system and the ability to organize large volumes of data into spreadsheets
Working knowledge of adobe suite
Basic knowledge of RFID tracking systems (implementation and usage)
Knowledge of state and agency physical inventory procedures and regulations
