Duties and Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development:
  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the automotive technician curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards and educational best practices 
• Program Implementation:
  • Oversee the implementation of the program, including securing apprenticeship locations, coordinating with industry partners, and managing program timelines 
• Leadership:
  • Provide visionary leadership to the vocational school, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and student success 
• Faculty Management:
  • Recruit, train, and support faculty members, ensuring high-quality instruction and mentorship for students 
• Student Support:
  • Develop and implement student support services, including academic advising, career counseling, and life skills development 
• Budget Management:
  • Manage the program's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with financial goals 
• Community Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility and support 
• Assessment and Reporting:
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to university leadership

Education

• Master's degree in Education, Vocational Training, Automotive Technology, or a related field

Experience

• Extensive experience in educational administration, curriculum development, and program management, preferably within vocational or technical education
