Enerveo is one of the largest contracting businesses in the UK, offering a broad scope of services including mechanical, electrical, high voltage, electrical vehicle (EV) infrastructure installation, test and inspection services, as well as street lighting.

Job Title: Regional Diretcor

Base Location: Northen England  

Salary:  Circa £75k - £80k depending on skills and experience. Car allowance, competitive bonus, private healthcare  plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing. 

Working Pattern: Full Time, 37 hours per week - Travel required across the North of England, 4 days a week in the region   

Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter, greener and more efficient which benefits us all.

Could you be our next Regional Director- North  to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role? 

This is first and foremost a leadership role, Reporting to the Director of Highways Electrical you’ll be using your strong people management skills to coach, mentor and develop operational teams to achieve their full potential, while delivering outstanding results for our customers and our business.

As Regional Director, you’ll be accountable for the safe, high-quality and profitable delivery of projects across your region. You’ll set high standards, lead by example, and create an environment where your teams can thrive.

In a  typical day, you could expect to be;

Working closely with Operations Managers, Project Managers and depot teams of circa 130 employees across the 5 depots, you’ll:

  • Shape and deliver business strategy to keep us competitive and growing in a changing market
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for contract growth
  • Provide clear safety leadership and ensure compliance with our business assurance processes
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, profitability, and resource planning
  • Lead and embed a positive, inclusive culture across all depots, aligned with Enerveo’s values
  • Build strong collaboration between your depots, other regions, and central support functions
  • Act as the senior point of contact for your region during incidents or emergencies, ensuring safe and timely resolution

What do I need to be successful in the role?

We’re looking for an experienced senior leader, someone who is used to leading teams of people across a region of the UK. Ideally you will be from the from the utilities, M&E, highways or construction sectors- however we are open to hearing from candidates who have the level of leadership experience we want, from outside our industry.

For us, your track record of delivering results through your teams is the main thing . You’ll be commercially astute, safety-focused and comfortable making big decisions that have real impact.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in operational and contract management, ideally in a multi-site environment
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget control and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor and motivate high-performing teams
  • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering the best for customers
  • We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations
