Job Title: HR Advisor

Base Location: Remote in UK  

Salary: £27,853 - £42,894 -  depending on skills and experience and working hours , plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing. 

Working Pattern: Full Time (37 Hours) 

Contract: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

Could you be our next HR Advisor  to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role? 

In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to managers and employees across the business, providing sound advice and practical support on everything from employee relations and performance management to policies and HR projects.

In a  typical day, you could expect to be;

• Advising managers and employees on HR policy, employment law, and best practice
• Supporting ER cases—grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and consultations
• Coaching managers through performance reviews, development planning and team dynamics
• Helping us continuously improve policies and processes
• Delivering key HR projects, including employee engagement and D&I initiatives
• Maintaining accurate records and providing insightful HR data
• Being the go-to for general HR queries across reward, benefits, pensions, and more
• Support the HR Admin teams with Inbox management

What do I need to be successful in the role?

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role at Advisor level
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Experience supporting employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
• Ability to coach and support managers on HR policies and procedures
• Able to manage a busy and varied workload, with good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and confidence in making decisions
• Have the ability and experience to build strong effective partnering relationships with stakeholders and trade unions.
• Strong communication & influencing skills – written and oral

Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;

• CIPD Level 5 Qualification or working towards
• Knowledge of the Electrical Contracting sector in the UK
