Job Title: Project Manager
Base Location: Piddlehinton, Dorset.
Salary: £37,678 - £49,760 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Bonus Scheme, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday–Thursday 7.30am-15.30pm & Friday7.30am-15.00pm. Overtime as required.
Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter, greener and more efficient which benefits us all.
Could you be our next Project Manager to join the team and drive this success forwards?
What will I be doing in this role?
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for organisation and efficiency? Then we need you to join our team in Dorset and support our daily operations in our busy Highways Electrical depot as a Project Manager.
In a typical day, you could expect to be;
- Overseeing a team who are responsible for the installing and maintaining of street lighting apparatus and furniture, this could be street lights, signposts or signs.
- Planning their workloads which include routine changing, maintaining and testing street lighting equipment to prevent any future issues., as well as reactive maintenance where needed.
- Ensuring strict adherence company safety guidelines and regulations.
- Managing HR requirements for your team, to include looking after Holiday/Sickness/Leave and general welfare.
- Supporting the Operations Manager to ensure we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public, including being client facing.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
We're looking for an experienced people manager with a passion for leading, coaching, and motivating teams. You don’t need to come from our industry, it’s your leadership skills, attitude, and ability to bring out the best in others that matter most to us. We can teach you everything you need to know about Highways Electrical.
We would love to see you bring the below skills;
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently on a daily basis.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations/site visits.
- You'll be part of an on-call rota, covering one week in every 12, to provide support for Operatives attending emergency call-outs in the region. This comes with additional standby payments.
Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;
- It would be a benefit if you have an electrical background with knowledge of the 18th Edition
- Experience working in the Electrical, Civils or Fibre industry- this would be a benefit but not essential.
- Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and other street furniture
