Help shape the future of children in our care

The Kindergarten with Extended Hours Program commences from the end of the kindergarten program and continues the children's learning into the afternoon. As one of our highly valued Educators in the Kindergarten with Extended Hours Program, you’ll work alongside the Kindergarten with Extended Hours Coordinator to provide support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

At C&K Seven Hills Kindergarten we have a strong focus on nature play, developing environmental awareness, developing independence and resilience, cooperative learning and early literacy and numeracy whilst supporting each child in their social and emotional development. Our teachers and educators focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play

Our team at Seven Hill Kindergarten is made up passionate Educators who are excited to engage our wonderfully diverse community. We love encouraging our children to share their family’s culture with us and our beautiful natural spaces allow us to make every day an adventure.

You’ll be taking on the role of Educator to cover maternity leave, working Thursday, Friday, and every other Wednesday from 1:50pm to 6:15pm. This opportunity runs until 1st March 2025, with the exciting possibility of an extension. It’s a chance to make a real impact during this time and potentially continue your journey with us.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

• A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
