At C&K, our purpose is to make a positive impact on children’s lives. It’s what we’ve been doing for more than 115 years. Through evidence-based thinking, hard work and true compassion, we’ve built a trusted reputation as Queensland’s leading provider of early childhood education.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

Find your Better Way

Every C&K career helps children belong and grow. We want the same for you and joining C&K means impacting a child’s life journey for the time they spend with us and long after they leave.  But, so much of what we do depends on you.

We’ll set you up for success with a range of benefits, programs and opportunities to help you earn, be well and grow.

  • Be rewarded for your commitment with a wage rate of $35.77 per hour.
  • Live, work and be well with our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.
  • Find a healthy work-life balance with choosing centres and shifts that suit you.
  • Be rewarded for supporting the growth of our teams with a $1000 referral bonus for referring a successful candidate to a C&K vacancy.
  • Access a nationally recognised qualification in the high-demand field of early childhood education and care with subsidised training for eligible students through the C&K College.

Help shape the future of children in our care

Are you passionate about creating inclusive environments where every child can thrive? At C&K, we believe in finding better ways to nurture and inspire the children in our care. As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring all children feel welcomed and supported in our service.

In this role, you'll work closely with our dedicated team of educators, helping to reduce educator-to-child ratios and providing essential support to children with additional needs. Your efforts will allow for more personalized and small-group interactions, fostering a richer learning experience for every child.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.

In addition you will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset - when you join C&K, you join a village of good-hearted, talented people, so you can lean on them as they lean on you.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

C&K is a child-safe organisation and all C&K employees are required to undergo a police check and not be a Prohibited Person or Suspended Educator.

We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people from all backgrounds.
