We are excited to offer a position for a skilled People Support Coordinator to contribute to and assist in driving and embedding the people programs within C&K for all team members throughout their journey with us. This role will be based at our Central Office in Kedron.

The role:
The successful candidate will work closely with our People Experience Team to provide effective advice and support on a range of people issues, acting as the first level of enquiry for our employees. The team have a large program of work with a focus on people experience and programs which will underpin effective engagement and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
Day to day, you will be accountable for:

Solutions Focus: first level support to our employees via phone and the HR Helpdesk email inbox, providing advice on a wide range of employee queries regarding wages, leave, enterprise agreement interpretation and People policies and procedures.

Employment administration: Assist the People Experience team with the preparation of contracts, letters, statements of service and reports as required.

People Programs: Support our practices to reward and recognise our employees and programs such as the annual PPR process
To be considered, candidates should be able to satisfy the following key criteria:

Proven experience in a HR/IR or administrative role, including managing high volume enquiries, maintaining employee records, drafting employment contracts and Enterprise Agreement/Modern Award interpretation.

A strong customer focus and ability to collaborate on solutions;

Demonstrated capability and experience with a wide range of IT systems including the MS Office suite;

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail and problem-solving abilities;

Experience working in the early childhood education and care sector is highly desirable;

Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or related field is desirable.
