Join C&K Middlemount and help shape the futures of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a nurturing, play-based environment. As a Lead Educator, you’ll collaborate with a passionate team and our supportive Director to deliver high-quality early learning experiences in our Toddler Room.

Permanent Full Time | Toddler Room | 40 hours a week with monthly RDO

In this role, you will:

  • Co-create a supportive, play-based learning environment where each child (6 weeks to 5 years) is seen, heard, and respected.
  • Partner closely with families and the local community, nurturing strong, meaningful relationships.
  • Collaborate with our passionate Director, Jackie, in a setting that prioritises professional growth, reflective practice, and evidence-informed teaching.
  • Design and deliver engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Support children’s growth in empathy, autonomy, social skills, and self-regulation
  • Foster a calm, inclusive learning environment where children feel safe and empowered
  • Actively engage in reflective practice and contribute to continuous improvement within your team and the wider C&K community

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone with passion, commitment, and a deep respect for the capabilities of young children. You’ll also have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A current Police Check
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • A team-oriented mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a drive to deliver high-quality outcomes for children, families, and the wider community
