About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our payroll team based in Mascot. This role involves working closely with our business to efficiently and accurately process our weekly and monthly payroll for 1200+ employees nationally. Using your ability to show initiative as well as strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Weekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Employee setup, changes, and terminations
  • Processing out-of-cycle adjustments
  • Payroll and End of month reporting
  • Training employees on payroll systems
  • Responding to payroll queries and EBA interpretation

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a similar payroll position with exposure to interpreting Awards and EBAs in a blue-collar environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll processes, taxation, superannuation & payroll tax legislation is essential, as is previous experience using ADP
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, sound analytical & problem-solving skills
