About the role

Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a dynamic and aspiring individual looking to step into the role of Management Accountant / Financial Controller. This position is perfect for candidates aiming for career advancement and who are ready to take on greater responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Controlling, this role is responsible for providing the QLD branch with effective operational reporting, analysis and controls to ensure the financial integrity of the business. This role also supports the Head Office with Business Line Management Accounting.

This position requires a significant amount of interaction with key stakeholders across the business, so relationship-building, Business Partnering and effective communication is a must.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee all financial activities, ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance.
• Support strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Role Requirements

• Agile business partnering
• Be able to effectively communicate with key stakeholders across the business
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
