About the role:

We are seeking an experienced National Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in Mascot. Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible for managing and driving our supply chain including our national procurement, logistics, inventory and warehousing functions.

In leading your team, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the complete supply chain. You will be responsible for procurement, logistics, supplier contract negotiation and management as well as managing internal and external stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a proven and successful Supply Chain Manager, having worked within medium to large-sized multiple product organisations in a similar role. You will have a proven track record in change management. You will possess Tertiary Business Qualifications with a Supply Chain Management focus and have strong people leadership with the ability to develop and drive teams to success. You will also demonstrate excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills, a high-level inventory management, planning and operational skills with a focus on meeting customer satisfaction and achieving results.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to manage entire Spend to maximise the part availability and saving potential by using all purchase levers           
  • Lead execution of multi-regional category projects        
  • Ensure that project outcomes, e.g. contracts, specification change or demand interventions are implemented                      
  • Identify and proactively manage project and supply risks                
  • Establish and lead direct the souring and logistics team, comprising direct and indirect reports (in branches)       
  • Responsible for the entire product/component/part logistics from inbound to delivering on site        
  • New product introduction in line with policy and process
