About the role:
We have a newly created position for a Warehouse Logistics Officer to work from our new state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Mascot and help oversee the transition into the new facility. The role will be to provide support predominantly to our construction Warehouse Operations.
You will have responsibility for all Inbound and Outbound shipments including planning and scheduling of pick-up trucks, containers, couriers and all types of deliveries from the warehouse. This position will require a strong solution-based approach as you will be coordinating with carriers and suppliers to resolve any shipping issues and logistical operations from the warehouse.

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide end-to-end Logistics support for Warehouse Operations for all branches,
- Keep tracking spreadsheets up to date for Warehouse logistics data to identify items received & dispatched for each Project and job site.
- Manage vendors according to quality procedures.
- Research and request quoting on non-stocked items with vendors
- Assist Warehouse Leaders to control logistics spending.
- Maintain and build good relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Logistics Planning Support for All warehouse deliveries to job sites.
- Strong awareness of safety and safety prevention, ideally with a qualification.
What we are looking for:
- Past experience as a Logistics Support Officer or similar in a Warehouse environment
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Logistics (will be highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong administration or customer service and customer service skills
- Good computer and communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Strong attention to detail & time management skills
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems, preferred.
- Have a strong degree of safety knowledge associated with working in a warehouse.
