About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join our engineering team based in our new Head Office in Alexandria. As a key contributor to the project success of any new lift installation, you will be responsible for providing engineering and drafting support to ensure that any engineered solution fits customer requirements and is executable from a product compliance and efficiency perspective.

Key Accountabilities:
- Liaise with sales teams nationally to determine customer requirements
- Produce lift and escalator layouts and appointment drawings in AutoCAD / 3D Revit based on customer specifications
- Configure the final design specification in our configuration tool and manage the ordering of all equipment required
- Support fulfilment teams to address unexpected site issues
- Ensure compliance with QA procedures, current codes and regulations
What we are looking for:
- Proven technical ability with experience using AutoCAD / 3D Revit is essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or equivalent) for a related discipline or appropriate level of relevant industry experience
- Exposure to 3D Modelling e.g. BIM and configuration tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- High level of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
