About the role:

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work as part of a field-based team supporting a portfolio of clients across Mackay region.

This is a hands-on role focused on scheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair work to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably. You will work both independently on-site and in coordination with internal teams, maintaining strong communication with customers and delivering outcomes in line with company procedures and safety standards.

You will utilise field systems to record repair activities, diagnose faults, and ensure accurate reporting of all work completed.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and complete all required documentation
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out repair work, including after-hours as required
  • Diagnose faults, conduct repairs, and isolate unsafe equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide updates on repair status
  • Identify and report equipment issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and site standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and actively promote safe work practices

Requirements for the role

To be successful in the role you will ideally (not essential) have previous experience in the lift industry in a similar role and a working knowledge of the lift codes and standards. You will also possess:

  • An Electrical trade certificate or equivalent and current electrical license.

  • General Construction Induction Card
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette

  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure

  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures

  • Previous working with heights & manual handling experience is highly regarded though not essential.
