About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Modernisation to lead our Queensland Modernisation Sales team, based in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will drive sales growth across Schindler's modernisation portfolio while leading and developing a high-performing team of Technical Sales Consultants.
This is a unique leadership opportunity to capitalise on Queensland's strong growth trajectory. With significant investment in infrastructure, urban renewal, and the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the demand for building upgrades and asset modernisation continues to accelerate.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning Schindler as the partner of choice for building owners, developers and facility managers across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Queensland Modernisation sales strategy and growth.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Identify and win upgrade, refurbishment and replacement opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Collaborate across the business to deliver customer-focused solutions.
About You
A commercially driven sales leader with proven success growing teams, building customer relationships and delivering results.
What You'll Bring
- Qualifications in Business, Engineering, Building, Marketing or similar.
- Extensive sales experience within lifts, construction, building services or infrastructure.
- Proven sales leadership and team development experience.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing pipelines, forecasting and strategic opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and a current driver's licence.
Highly Regarded
- Lift modernisation or building services experience.
- Consultative sales and strategic account management expertise.
- Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards.
- Established networks across Queensland's property and construction sectors.
