About The Role
Excellent opportunity for a Clinical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinic located across our Metro Sites including Booragoon, Claremont, Forrestfield, Quinns Rocks, O'Connor and Peel in a casual capacity.
As a Clinical Assistant you will be responsible for
- Prepare CT and Ultrasound patients, including ID checks, attire and workflow coordination.
- Assist CT Radiographers with injector setup, positioning, and post-scan care.
- Perform cannulation (if accredited) and monitor patients post-procedure.
- Support Sonographers and Radiologists with Ultrasound-Guided Procedures, equipment setup, and room readiness.
- Ensure accurate billing by liaising with clerical staff.
- Maintain clean, stocked, and well-organised CT and Ultrasound areas.
- Monitor upcoming bookings and escalate any clinical concerns.
You Will Have
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred mindset.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Confidence in decision-making and sound judgement to escalate matters appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think proactively.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
