Job Description:

Working as an Associate Technology Support Administrator, this position is responsible for maintaining and supporting computer systems across the University. The employee plays a pivotal role in supporting technology needs for faculty, staff, researchers, and/or students.

Other job duties include diagnosing and troubleshooting computer related problems including hardware and software issues; provide technology support by fixing and imaging machines and installing software; and answering computer-related questions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required
o Bachelor’s degree or an Associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience
o Have a good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office software suite
o Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
o Experience with wireless networks
o Appreciation of punctuality, regular attendance, and dependability.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
o Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred or Beneficial
o Knowledge of Macintosh OS
o Active Directory experience
o Remote systems management tool experience
o Desktop image deployment experience
o Course content experience with operating systems, databases, and/or programming languages
o Help Desk support experience
