Job Description:
Responsible for managing and oversight of the operations of the Sterile Processing Department. Supervises daily operations, manage surgical schedules, maintains sterile environment, ensuring coordination with surgical team and regulatory compliance. Responsible for ensuring all sterile processing and high-level disinfection meets the highest industry standard.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare or related field preferred or equivalent experience
• Certification as a Central Service Technician required
• 3-5 years’ experience in the perioperative area required
• Minimum 3 years leadership/supervisory experience required
• Strong technical background in sterile processing techniques, equipment and supplies.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of computer-based management programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
• Ability to create and maintain positive, productive working relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
