Job Description:
This role performs support, administrative and clerical duties involving Human Resources activities and as the primary front desk representative for the department. This role will be the first line of contact for calls or walk-ins for Human Resources. As the front desk representative, this role will primarily answer or transfer incoming calls, distributing mail and other deliveries, providing clerical support, evaluating and filing electronic employee files in the appropriate systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•Minimum of two years of experience in a clerical setting (can include GA or internship experience).
•Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer proficiency.
•Experience using the MS office suite, particularly MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Associate degree in human resources, business or related area.
•Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.
•Other database skills are preferred and should include ad hoc report creation and exporting into Excel, as well as the ability to manipulate data, sort, merge data and export Excel (or other database) results into MS applications as needed.
•Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HRIS software.
