Job Description:
The Records Management Officer 1 is responsible for performing administrative functions and providing student services by maintaining academic records in hard copy or through one or more of the university’s information systems. This position ensures accuracy of records and adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. This position performs functions across multiple areas within the Office of the Registrar that impact frontline customer service, email, enrollment, registration, grading, graduation, records integrity, academic reporting, athletic eligibility, and imaging.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• High School Diploma with at least 3-5 years of practical experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Communication and other skills:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a higher education setting preferred.
