Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (RN) Department Org: Jacobson Clinical Research Center - 107980 Employee Classification: J1 - Salaried Full Time HSC Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association Job Description: Under clinical direction of the JCCTR Director the CRC is responsible for managing the conduct of all delegated clinical trial procedures and activities for the assigned department. Performs all clinical research nursing duties related to clinical trial research protocols. Minimum Qualifications: Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse licensure required; BSN preferred. Experience working in hematology/oncology nursing Minimum three to five (3-5) years Clinical experience required Current, active CPR certification at time of hire required and maintained. Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in research. HIPAA certification must be completed within 90 days of hire. CITI training through IRB is to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of clinical trials and IRB submission, preferred. Knowledge and experience with clinical trial management Prior laboratory research or technician experience desirable. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be self-directed. Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software programs as required. Must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Must have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
